All 2006 candidates for Congress have been invited to let voters know where they stand on medical, health and scientific research.

Use the tools at the left to find your candidates' views on these important issues.

In national polls, Americans consistently describe medical, health and scientific research as important, yet just 9% said they were very well informed about their elected officials' positions on these issues, in a 2005 Research!America poll.

To change this, Research!America and the Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation are pleased to present 2006 Your Candidates–Your Health, a new voter education initiative.

Use this site to inform your interactions with candidates and your decisions at the polls. Thank those who have responded and let those who have not know that you want to hear from them!

Would you be more or less likely to vote for a Congressional candidate who is a strong supporter of federal spending for medical, health and scientific research?
